Hello I am a DJ From Texas, and am happy to be aboard this DJ Chat.
I have been a DJ for 5 years, and thank that in part to my absolute love of Music. I am a drummer for about 7 years. I use a Laptop/Desktop with Virtual DJ and a Music Collection at about 20 gigs worth of music. I use Mackie 1530s and have a few spin-n-pukes such as the veritgo, agressor, and mirror ball run on a dj co-pilot II on a Twin T-Bar and I Bar System... Real basic.
Even though my setup is condensed and basic i have honed my skills to be a proficient DJ. I enjoy DJing Schools and Teen Events.
I work at a production company where my title is Lead Editor. However DJing has always been my first love. I also am an eight year veteran audio engineer which expertise upon building a system. I also enjoy watching movies, learning turntablism, computer programming, web programming, watching tv of course. Computer Building, Troubleshooting, trash management (at work hehe), Roadie, Videography***, Technical Directing, VJing, and Sharing my knowledge with others.
Anyways, I am very open, love providing a helping hand to fellow DJs. Networking. So please feel free to call me Travis. I am very eager to getting to know the community and help it grow. So please don't be bashful.
I think that covers alot of what I do.
