Well the company I am working for has decided to put me in some house party for a 70th birthday Party. I called the lady who is organizing it up and asked her a few thing... Apparently its disco night... It a 6 hour gig.... And damit Im only 19.... I have been pissing around with disco stuff... but if Im still DJing by the end of this, I will be surpised... Anyone got a good idea of songs to play... I have lots of Beegees, abba, The mainsteam like YMCA, Mocho man, Disco Duck, Earth wind and fire, skae your botty... but this could be a painful night...
Any additional songs you can think of would be a great help... I dont know how I am going to make it thought the night

JK..go to amazon..pull up DISCO under music...check out "TOTALLY FUNK 1,2,3", "TOTALLY DISCO 1,2,3,4" and the other offerings under that catagory...if you have BGs "saturday night fever" album, let it rip...also, commodores "brick house" is always a great choice...donna summers, anything...gloria gainer...kc and the sunshine band..."in the navy" the village people"...if you need more, just ask...i spun discs in west berlin during that period of man's evolution...<<---an old fart that refuses to grow up..

The soundtrack to Studio 54 plus it's companion cd has some less mainstream but recognizable disco hit's. Alot of music from the seventies was catorgized as disco but was really funk ie Kool and the Gang, Parliament, I would even dable in some early 80's oh and don't forget about Donna Summer (the queen of disco).

Well the gig went petty well... ended early due to poor attendance (Yep, that big storm in Canada Eh). Even had 70 year old grandma "boogie" out... Kinda sad they had it end early, I was really getting into it... I must say Disco Inferno when over really well, even the young kids were having an awesome time.

Also remember are you playing 100% all the whole 6x hours or is there times you have to stop because of speeches etc or other things happening ?

in 6x hrs you should have a total with NO stops, 75x songs

so this way you can work out a small playlist with whats been given to you
