What song do you have to play before an event starts to put you in "the zone"?
My current one is the live version of Future Lovers/I Feel Love (first track on The Confessions Tour Live CD).

let me think on this. I would have to say it would depend on the gig. Different styles for different attitudes at the event.
Rock - train train by blackfoot. Love the high energy build up in it.
Country - Swing by Toby Kieth
Old School - Fire by ohio players
Rap/dance - Cupid shuffle (today) like the energy of it
Latin/Tex mex - daddy Yankee (most music)

I used to dust off my first school gig each year with Frankenstein- Edgar Winter Group aint nothin like it to clean out your ears and or tweeters.
