What's so funny about that... I see nothing wrong with tipping a KJ or as he implied with the last bit with the "secret hand shake" that bribeing the KJ is so bad...

If as he say's the KJ is doing more than calling names and finding discs or computer files... and is providing a superior sound stage for the singers... then Hell Yeah you should tip!

I've tipped KJ's before... both with money and comments..

Comments like "Your system sounds awesome!", "Thanks for making us sound good tonight"....

I think the most I've ever tiped a KJ dollar wise was about $5 at the end of the night.

Since my work charges for karaoke, my standard is:

If you sang once, or 10 times you should leave a buck in my tipjar.
