I look at your posts regularly, but after clicking on the link and reading the whole article, I'm sometimes overwhelmed at the subject.

Could you post a short description or short paragraph of what the article is relaying? Just a few more words that the header so, I have a little more information.

For example: "researchers looking for technology to quiet helicopter noise have really discovered a way to turn a flat surface into a sound producing speaker".

What does "fully patched" mean, and how do I get it on my computer?

Any of you computer nerds know of a way to keep my machine clean?

"Fully patched" usually means checking with MS's Windows Updates site at least once a month or making sure Automatic Updates is running. Microsoft releases new patches the second Tuesday of each month, so the following Wednesday or even the weekend is a good time to check it.
