Request Line Productions 01-20-2008, 07:28 PM I just put this up for review by the client. They LOVE it!
Just thought I'd share before I take it down. Warning it's kinda long (17:41), but no downloading. Streaming DIVX
60th Birthday Montage (http://www.dmsign.net/hank/video/index.html)
Kirby Ball 01-20-2008, 09:54 PM Darn, I wanted to take a peek at that....but I keep getting an error that "Microsoft Explorer has encountered a problem and will close" 3 times.
Sigh, I give up.:sqembarrassed::sqconfused:

I like that but is there anyother way to create a slide show like that without requireing the DIVX download?
Some people are opposed to downloading stuff just to watch a video... fear of getting a virus. I wasn't worried cause I know what Divx is.

People were opposed to downloading the WMV, Real Player and Quicktime codecs at one time as well. DIVX is far superior in quality and my weapon of choice. :sqwink:
"People" will have to get with the times.
jokerswild 01-20-2008, 11:48 PM ya ya ya.... I know... its just that some folks are opposed to the whole must download somethin to see somethin.... goes back to the skin sites I suppose....
Anywho.... what are you using asside from Photoshop to create those master pieces from start to finish?

Skill and vision. :sqwink:
The Wizard Of OZ 01-21-2008, 09:28 PM Dude, you have SERIOUS SKILLS! That was great! The music choices were great too. IF I ever get a request for a montage I'm sending it to you, no joke, totally serious. I will definitely have some work for you in the future for logos, business cards and any video and photo editing work that I need to have done. You are the man!
Jon Tuck 01-21-2008, 09:36 PM Stogie its folks like Hank who make this a special place for sure. My business cards were done by the master two rounds in a row. Yes he did my last design 4 yrs ago and we went for a more sophisticated look for this new card.
Thanks Hank for sharing your skills.
The Wizard Of OZ 01-21-2008, 10:47 PM Ahem, it's The Wizard Of Oz now. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain, no lookin' behind the facade, move along, nothing to see here folks, what I do is magical and mysterious and that's why I charge a lot of money...
Jon Tuck 01-21-2008, 11:12 PM once a stogie always a stogie is my moto!!!
djharryg 02-14-2008, 09:26 PM How did you make that awesome "Hank's Lounge" picture? I gotta have one.

Thanks! Check your PMs
GoodKnightDJ 02-16-2008, 04:11 PM Not to steal Hank's thunder, but here's one of mine.
GoodKnightDJ 02-16-2008, 04:18 PM BTW, don't ya just love the look on Mike's face in some of these? Heather is not only an extremely attractive lady but she is also one of the nicest people I have ever met; same way with Mike. You could tell that both of these people are very much in love with each other.
Request Line Productions 02-17-2008, 09:28 AM Tom,
Excellente'
Great song! I love all that Rod stuff. I was having a hard time paying attention to Mike's face during the video though. :sqwink:
WaydeWest 02-17-2008, 09:45 AM Wow...I'm reminded of a song. "Is she really going out with him..."
Very Nice Tom. However, just an observation about most of these that I've seen (and in fairness, I haven't downloaded the plug-in yet to see Hank's)...why does everybody find it neccessary to use every single wipe effect that the program provides. Repeating effects or similar effects can be used to tie together "chapters" and seems to make for a smoother more consistant feel to the montage.
Request Line Productions 02-17-2008, 10:02 AM Wayde,
In Tom's defense..
Some programs are limited as to transitions. My Pinnacle Studio has over 400 plus pan & zoom. Get the plug-in and have a look. There's also a short demo of my daughter at my website that incorporates video clips as well.
GoodKnightDJ 02-17-2008, 10:08 AM Hank:
Thanks.
I think I may have to switch over to Pinnacle Studio.
Ron Auger 02-17-2008, 05:40 PM There was a guy in that montage? Oh yea, I did see a Red Sox shirt in one shot. Other than that didn't notice one, nope, never.
