A few pics. This is a band fundraiser. They usually have around 1000 kids; I think it's $10 ticket price. I didn't hear a head count this year yet. Had an unruly group of SR girls who kept taking their pants off, and an unruly group of SR guys who were a bit of a problem during techno. Kinda a bummer; usually they are a good group and can take a good share of rock and techno with no incidents. We had to keep it a little more mellow than usual, but everyone [mostly] was happy in the end. Had some family friends help load in and out; we're getting spoiled that way. Really digging the roadie business; it's now a pretty consistent happening, and no plans to stop.

Enjoy.

Val were they drunk the Sr girls? What was prompting this pants off action? Were the boys Moshing?

Hot damn! :)

Taking their pants off? Gosh, teen dances have been longer ago than I thought, lol.

They are the ones in the pics wearing long sleeve white mens dress shirts. Most of them were wearing boxers, others tight/small shorts. It was a big 'statement'. Not prompted by anything in particular. They would get in trouble and have to put their jeans back on and a little later, they'd be in the middle of the floor without pants again only to put them on to move around. Principal was very busy yelling at kids all night. They were unusually troublesome. I didn't have many chances to get away for photos because I had to really keep an eye on them.

And yes, the boys, about 20 of them, were persistent about moshing and shoving. Couldn't stop them, so changed gears in the middle of Sandstorm. Got boo-ed. lol

I got asked to change from White zombie a few yrs back only to switch such gears to Janet Jacksons Velvet Rope the fools continued moshing with a lack of proper Chaperones. Proper Chaperone activity can control most of these issues. Kick em out so the rest can enjoy all music properly. Few simple rules need to be kept.

The moshing and head-banging I remember. Boy, those were the days, lol... sometimes I felt more like a babysitter than a DJ. :D

If they started getting out of hand, the next set would be music they didn't like. The pups are very clique-ish at that age.

The boos and catcalls I could ignore. When the pups started throwing things, I got on the mic. :D
