Help figuring out a song...

OK, this one is a little more challenging, because I have a pretty good recollection of music, and this one is evading me, LOL...

I have a song stuck in my head...it is an upbeat pop song, more than likely a one hit wonder, from either the VERRY late 70s or the very early 80s. The singer is definitely a male...

The chorus goes something to the effect of: Live....live every minute....dont leave til tomorrow what you can do today...

The cadence is stilted like this...

LEEEEEEEuuuve...
live every miiiiiiiinuuuute....

leave til tomorrow,
what you can do today...

And it has a little bridge with something to the effect of...sometimes its wrong, sometimes its right...

I may not have the words right, but I can hear the music in my head and it has been coming bact to haunt me for years...would love to know who and what it is. They used to play it on the radio ALL them time!!

looks like the closest match to your remembered song. It barely cracked the Top 40.....but in some markets, it did much better on local charts.
