for those of you NOT on cable or satellite and receive your TV Over The Air(OTA). You'll need one when TV turns off the analog signal.

Doug, thanks for keeping us posted with the news about DTV. we were able to make our old antenna work (albeit temporarily)........now I'm awaiting the new boxes so I can evaluate how the picture compares, before purchasing a new antenna & mast.
