here's a trivia question for ya (this didn't come from the radio - i know a couple of the folks involved)

when carly simon recorded your so vain, there was a different guy in the studio to do background vocals. after seeing her and mick talk when he popped in to say hi, he bowed out, saying that they had way more chemistry (which would make sense, since mick and carly were a prior couple).
