"Get Buck In Here"....too dirty for radio?

daughter Allie is very fond of this club banger:

"Get Buck In Here" (DJ Felli Fel featuring P. Diddy, Akon, Lil Jon, & Ludacris)

she wanted to know if anyone is hearing this song on the radio in their market;

Apparently it got played ONCE on 103.5 (The Bomb), a local hip hop radio station....and got so many FCC complaints the station management had to stop playing it.

("Get Buck In Here" sounds like "Get F***d in Here" when you hear it on radio)

In the alternative......since its not getting Air Play---- is anyone banging this song in their club gig?

My rule of thumb: If Allie adds a song to her IPOD, the probability of it becoming a Hit Song goes up 100% or more....

it reminds me of "Rockwilder" (the synth hook). Its got an all-star roster of hip hop talent.

I haven't been doing a regular club nite since 5-06......but if I were still doing the CH, it would likely be one of the regular "hourly bangers" in a club environment.

I can see why it might be too dirty. The term 'buck' or 'get bucked' or even 'put her in the buck' refers to a sex posistion (which I wont describe). This hails back to the days of 2 Live Crew (or maybe earlier?)

Yeah, I'd definitely play that at a club. It's been on my playlist for months now. Also, "buck" just means to wild out, tear the roof off type of thing.

Off topic, I know. But what a pitty some of these songs that have a great beat/sound to them and which are very danceable, are also so corrupted w/ offensive lyrics. I recently discovered Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Chief Boot Knocka" and have been obsessing over it the past few days, but it's nothing I could play ANYWHERE in public.

I don't know "Get Buck In Here," so I can't comment. But will give a listen.

This song has been on the top of the charts over here in L.A. for about 5 months now. Local Dj & Prodcer "Felli Fel" ( my amigo) produced it along with his cd that dropped not too long ago. Here in L.a. this song is crucial in any dj's set!
so just a 411 on how this song is doing in L.A....
