Video of the Wiedamark cans...

I got an e-mail on Friday from Mark Reed, who owns Wiedamark. Since I was the first to get the cans a few years ago, we have stayed in contact, and he's used some of my reviews on his lighting web site. He has also offered this site's members a discount on cans as a favor to OurDJTalk.

He asked me if I'd shoot some video with a little better camera than the digital I had used before, and he said he pay me with some lights. That's all I needed to hear, and I shot this on Saturday night and went to the studio today. I could still use a better camera.

Here's what I put together... BTW: he only wanted some footage, and I made him a commercial. I have a really small studio in my office that I put this together with.

What DMX controller/software are you using?

...is using the DMX-6. I only use it because it was real cheap on e-bay. It can only handle 9 fixtures but has 50 scenes versus 8 on the 12 fixture controllers. The down side of this controller, is that you can't stop it for static scenes. Once it's running, it just goes.
