I sat down with this couple last November. G2B is a sales manager at a Family Fitness Center. So I basically played the Waiting Game with them, no sales pressure whatsoever. IT WORKED.

meanwhile---since I hadn't heard from Couple #1--- 2 other contracts for this date are in play...because I always try to book my subs for the "extras" that fall into my lap, and I don't say I'm booked until I've received retainer ($$$ talks & BS walks).

My price, BTW---$888 for up to 5 hours playing time. (up $88 from what Fridays would normally cost in 2008).

I could end up making some serious Saturday cash.....on a Friday!!!

Anybody else seeing a "repeat" of 7-7-07?

DUpe.....

Nope not even a nibbel. 7-7-07 was booked 2 years in advance.
Never even been checked if I was available that day in gigbuilder.

My 2 Most requested dates in last month are 10/18/08 and 10/25/08 both are booked.

I charge $100 less for Friday weddings.

I have had quite a few inquiries for 8/8/08 not a booking yet, but last year with 7/7/07 worked 2 weddings that day. It is predicted to be the busiest wedding day of the year.

If I am lucky. This might be my wedding date. Easy date to remember.

I've got a verbal booking for 8/8/08 (friends of mine) so I'm pretty sure a contract is just around the corner.
