Just heard it a few days ago at a planning meeting, apparently he is a new Christian artist. Agreed another Butterfly Kisses. This is going to be a huge one for Brides is my opinion. I have a bride using it in March.

Carolyn you are correct partially. Steven has been a contemporary Christian artist succesfully since the mid 90's atleast when I first bought one of his albums. I still have it actually along with a fairly large Christian Contemporary library. Agreed this one will make some waves in the bridal market for the next few yrs.

I too have a SC Chapman CD from the mid-90's; played it just 2x that I can remember.

I'll contact my Service (RPM) and ask them to issue the song.

Many times, if enough subscribers request it, a song will be issued on a weekly T-disc.

Provided SC Chapman's label is one that is mainstream enough to get into a pool.

(other RPM users should do the same thing: If you want a song badly enough---call their toll-free number 1-800-521-2537 and make the request!)

Steven Curtis Chapman has been fairly popular for a long time. I don't listen to him but I gather that his music causes a lot of fans to become emotionally connected to stuff they identify with.

Will be nice to have a song to carry of his that has some crossover appeal. I haven't added any of his songs ever because its hard to tell what you will need when most of the fan favorites are album cuts and never really chart or anything. Kind of like underground hits that some brides will love but you won't be aware of unless you are a fan of the genre.

My wife just had this song played for her (one of her co-workers had it on an Ipod).

I have NEVER had to play that song, thank goodness.

Haven't played "kisses" since the '90's. But have played Chapman's Cinderella three times this year
