I was looking around, Just wondering what good LED par Cans you would recommend... Was looking on the FX website, just not sure what brand to go with... I mostlikely will not be DMXing them, I think there are switches on the back to control the color... I would still like the DMX feature... Any help guys is appriciated.... Looking for 2 I think, just for some basic uplighting for weddings, and to make me look a little more professional
Thanks

I'm one of them....Tyrone turned us on to these...

I've got 4 of them right now and love 'em. Plan on getting at least 2 more this year....(Geez, I hope Coreen didn't hear that!)

They are what I will be buying if Tyrone can teach me DMX in Vegas!

I like the Wiedamarks because they are only 4 channel. In my mind, they are MUCH easier to program than the 7 channel models. I also like th spiral LED layout... seems to have a nice color spread. I have 8 more on the way that brings me up to 24 fixtures.

To be truthful, I got to play with a Chauvet 7 channel can at Ben's shop, and they were very nice too, just had a few more channels.

If I was ONLY going to buy two fixtures, I'd opt for the color strips that Ben has. They can be run in sound active mode. Get two and you'll have a 6 foot wide light display with lots of color, that you can run DMX when you learn programming.

We'll be using the Chauvet RAIN56 for Tyrone's class. We've had good luck with both Chauvet and ADJ LED cans. It really depends on the feature set you're looking for and the intensity. Chauvet's Par200B is probably the most popular model we have, but the RAIN series offers some very popular models as well.

If you're coming to Vegas, we'll have some downright STUPID deals on the demo units after TB's class.
