This was at a golf course club house. Nothing fancy, but still lots of fun. It was weird, because I had never met or even spoken to the B&G before the event. My wife made all the contacts with them. The evening went really good, kept the floor packed for the majority of the night.
The gig was till 11pm, so when I announced the last dance, the crowd wanted more. The groom gave me $150 to play for another hour. I started the next song, packed the floor again, then was told by the bride that we had to shut down. (The club house owners said no more):sqmad:
I did give the $150 back of course, and he gave me $100 of it right back again. Not a bad tip for one extra song!!!:sqbiggrin:
BTW, I did fix the corner of the table skirt before any guests arrived!
