LCD StandChuck The DJ 02-08-2008, 01:08 AM http://www.acekaraoke.com/acesonic-lcd-1-1-tv-flat-panel-monitor-stand.html whatta ya thunk? jokerswild 02-08-2008, 02:06 AM http://www.acekaraoke.com/acesonic-lcd-1-1-tv-flat-panel-monitor-stand.html whatta ya thunk? You know that looks pretty nice... one thing they don't say is max size tv that can be mounted to it... also doesn't indicate what type of mounting it comes with just a blurb about 3" and 4" mounts.... I would call for more details first.... good price though.... Chuck The DJ 02-11-2008, 05:38 PM anyone else? I thought more would shime in.... The Wizard Of OZ 02-11-2008, 07:03 PM Seems kind of expensive to me. I do however like the integrated microphone holder. edit: Well I went and looked around and I guess that's not expensive. Screen stands aren't exactly the most common item out there. It looks to be sturdy and well made. I like the wheels too. I wonder how far it can be dis-assembled since most of us are mobile? I would want to take the display off the stand each time for transport. jokerswild 02-11-2008, 10:54 PM I imagine if they don't provide you with thumb screws that they would be easy to come by just use a set of those for easy on and easy off of the monitor.... What I'd like to know is if it is Vesa compliant and what the maximum size monitor/tv it could hold. Cause if it can hold a 20" LCD TV I would seriously think about getting one..... I wonder if Ben handles these too? Lito 02-11-2008, 11:34 PM I was looking at that stand and one by Audio 2000 that can hold flat panel TV's a few weeks ago. The one from Acesonic looks better and has mic holders compared to the Audio 2000. Ace karaoke has a package of stand and TV, the TV is a 19" flat panel. The one from Audio 2000 says it can hold a 15" - 30" flat panel up to 65 lbs. with no mic holders. I would go with the Acesonic. kayleigh 02-15-2008, 11:21 PM I wish that one was around when I'd bought mine last year.... That's a nice looking stand. I do like the base on mine - the legs fold down for easy transport. It looks like I'd need to take the base off this one (since I drive a smaller car & no trailer. :D) JoeChartreuse 02-17-2008, 04:29 PM I wish that one was around when I'd bought mine last year.... That's a nice looking stand. I do like the base on mine - the legs fold down for easy transport. It looks like I'd need to take the base off this one (since I drive a smaller car & no trailer. :D) I have the same problem, and similar transport for my standard karaoke setup. The Audio 2000's legs fold in so I can put it in my trunk... roffy 02-20-2008, 11:26 PM Looks pretty nice. I am extremely happy with mine. http://209.200.92.65/files/hardware/audio2000/msad4208.jpg But I wish mine had the mic holders like that one, might be something I add to my stand. MBM 02-20-2008, 11:52 PM I bought a LCD wall mount pivot arm, and use a section of lighting t-bar tube that just fits over one of my speaker tripod stands. I bolted the wall mount to the larger tube and left it about 2x the length of the wall mount. I setup the tripod and slide the tube over the tripod tube, it will pivot around and so far has be very stable. Here are a couple of pictures where I used it at a country Christmas party. The Wizard Of OZ 02-22-2008, 06:58 PM Where did you get the wall mount and how much did it cost? What clamps are you using and could you take a picture that was more on the back of the wall mount and where it clamps to the stand? I was thinking of using one of my extra mic stands or one of my extra speaker stands but I haven't figured out how to mount the screen to them. Thanks for the info. MBM 02-22-2008, 08:18 PM I bought it on eBay Just like this one but black. http://cgi.ebay.com/Swivel-Wall-Mount-Arm-Brcket-For-LCD-Flat-Panel-TV-Tilt_W0QQitemZ320220942604QQihZ011QQcategoryZ48656 QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem No clamps, I drilled hole through the pipe. I run the bolts through wall base and the mounting tube. The larger tube slides over the speaker stand and stops when it hits the lower bolt. I'll take some pictures on Saturday of all the parts and the full setup. MBM 02-23-2008, 06:58 PM Here are the pictures of the monitor stand I use. The last pictures shows how I can place it on my mixer rack for tight locations. The Wizard Of OZ 02-23-2008, 09:15 PM Wow, thanks. I think you just solved my dilemma of how to mount my 2nd LCD screen for Karaoke. The first screen goes on my DJ table next to the mixer etc. I have plenty of speaker stands and they're inexpensive too. Wing nuts mean fast attach/detach to the poles. | |
