Advice from Tyrone..and other DMX gurus...

Ok, here's my lighting rig:

DMX:

2 DJ Spot 250 moving heads
2 Intimidator 1.0 Scanners
6 Colorsplash Jr. LED Pars

NON DMX [picked up for $100 - all working 100%]
ADJ Trilogy
ADJ Reflex
Eliminator Octobar
ADJ Big Shot Strobe
Elation DMX On/Off Dimmer Pack to hook up to DMX Controller

I have a DMX-55 controller and need help programming a decent set of scenes with the above lights (perfectly fine to use just the DMX lights - i might make a second "simple" system with the non-DMX lighting).

Any ideas? BTW, as of right now, everything is truss-mounted except the DJ spot 250s.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Anybody with a similar setup and pictures/videos or descriptions of their shows?

To do any kind of desing consulting one would have to know the relative positioning of each of the fixtures. It's hard to paint a picture if you don't know where the brushes are.

Put up a pic of your truss... Lets see how you have it setup up first...

You didn't say if you know how to program. You should be able to produce a very nice show with the lights you have.

Cross patterns, up down in unison, then out of unison. Move things around and change gobos and colors. Try to be symmetrical when you do it.
