Numark "Cue" Problems....

Hello all....

My numark cue program is acting very Quirky.....

Mainly, when i go to cue a song, (I use the built in mixer) The cue song causes the song playing through the mains to be SCRATCHY sounding.....

Not all songs do it, That and the search function doesent seem to work worth a crap either.........

Any ideas???

How hard would it be to reinstall?

How much RAM ? System specs? How big is the library? Any anti virus running? Internet connection?

SVO, I believe 1 gig of RAM, 2.2 or 2.4 AMD 3500 +, NO Internet, No anti-virus. just music only.
The libary is app 120 gig, it has 2 hard drives.
I have a bunch of files that are WMA (windows lossless) those take a bit to load, are they maybe bogging the 'puter down??

I checked to see if maybe it needed a defrag. Windows said it didn't need it.

I've used this machine for DJing for app 2 years, maybe it just needs some TLC. It use to work great, now it just seems erratic sometimes.........

It was working until recently?

Try going into Settings and find the "performance" tab. It may have gotten moved to a higher performance level than your computer can handle.

I figured out the problem.......The KEYLOCK was on.......D'OH!!!!!

Yeah the keylock takes a lot of resources. I never use it. Only when I really need to.
