This past Sunday I had a bride who is confined to a wheel chair. She is to say the least a remarkable woman who had all the dreams of a perfect wedding.

We needed to make some adjustments, one was a surprise and the other not. When they entered after their Grand Entrance in this area they go directly to their first dance. This is what we decided to do instead. After their grand entrance which was My Guy - Diana Ross for the bridal party and then I Feel Good - James Brown for the bride and groom.

I announced for everyone to stand for the moment we had all been waiting for then when they came in they stayed in the middle of the dance floor. Everyone surrounded the dance floor as if it were on cue giving the bride and groom a standing ovation, beautiful! Couldn't have planned it better.

The next song was Butterfly kisses where the bride dedicated the song to her Dad. So on the way to the event I stopped at the store and picked up a single red rose. I spoke to her father before the ceremony and told him that there would be a song dedicated to him from his daughter. I handed him the rose and told him that when the song began to walk up to his daughter, kiss her on the cheek and hand her the rose. I can't even begin to tell you how huge this went over. Not a dry eye in the house. Absolutely breath taking!

Moments like these really make me feel so lucky to have the job that I do.

Great Job young lady. We also give a rose out but for the Mother and son dance. We always say its from her son and most of the moms usually cry. I love this stuff.

Carolyn, you are a class act. This is the kind of thing that makes some DJ's stand above all others. Nice Job.:sqwink:
