What should I be looking at?

You should be looking at saving your money until you have about 2K-2500.

I am looking to get into video and would like to know some general idea on how much it would take to get a decent video set-up.

What kind of video are you looking at... just montages and slideshows? A tripod screen (front) ..$150...A decent 2000 lumens projector...$700 - $1000...I say it's do-able....

No, I would like to do videos also. I will do montages and stuff but I would also like to do music videos for schools and stuff like that. Maybe later on get into live camera feeds.

I haver been looking to find a projector with over 2500 lumens after talking with a few of y'all.
