The M Audio Fast trak Pro is widely used as it has multiple outs. Your unit if it is not the "pro" has only single outs;....

I looked at the M-Audio myself and was more impressed with the EMU-1820 and now there is the EMU-1616 which is the same as the 1820 but smaller.... they offer more pro quality tools and features than the M-Audio system IMHO.

Well... you do get what you pay for...

And trust me they are worth every penny, both for performance and quality of sound.

You can't compare a DJs service to another.... you should know that there are way too many factors that would go it to that comparative.

But, a piece of equipment that doesn't have the variable's such as human influenced bias.... then you have a comparative.

Hands down the EMU series of pro-audio sound has more features pound for pound than the M-Audio line. It's far more flexible and latencies are as close to zero as you can get.... M-Audio can't claim that....

That aside the EMU has a lot of things that a DJ/KJ can use which are too many to list here....

Compare them yourself

Guys i only asked if anybody work with M-Audio card and if he is happy with.
I do a lot of stuff in studio-I own a small one and i have also:Digi 001,Digi 002 Factory bundle cards which cost a lot.
I am familiar with E-MU cards and my opinion in this is that the card is maybe too good for Djing and too bad for Studio.I was happy with the E-MU card but the sound is Fantastic and the recorded vocal is not.Im speaking only from my expirience, for others i cant tell.
And guys dont forget: I become the M-Audio for free!!!

Anything free, works great IMHO

I'm sooo fond of my little $25 Behringers, that I use them over all my other sound cards (and I have lots). Sure, some sound a bit better, but unless I'm in my studio, they work just fine and dandy, and the price is as close to free as you can get :) ;)

I was considering the Behringer card too.But i have 3 dead Behringer mixers at home and I had no balls too buy anything more from this brand.So...you know the story.
Any expirience with M-Audio?

I've heard some horror stories about Behringer, but so far, everything I've gotten from them works great, and has a solid feel...

The only M-Audio product I have at the moment, is their X-Session Pro MIDI controller. It's ok, but kind of too much plastic for my taste. The controls work fine, but they don't have a "quality" feel to them. The sliders are "slippery", e.g., no real tactile feedback. Similar to the sliders on the Numark Total Control.

I do have a number of customers that use the Fast Track, and I haven't heard any complaints -- so I guess that's a good thing... :)

Rick:
I agree with you on that:too much plastic for my taste.Yap for me too.
I have keyboards from M-Audio:Oxygene 8v2 with 25 and 61 key. Both work well. The big one is with sliders.I program the sliders over the M-Audio softvere called Enigma.

So today i tested the Fast Track and........works great.No latency,no bruming,no nothing!
Just driver, put into the USB slot,VDJ config and done.
TEST NO1
-I pull out my Ecler 1203 13 years old mixer.Ch1 was my Laptops integrated sound card and Ch2 was Fast Track.Connect the mixer wit my Bose L1 and works great.
TEST NO2
-I connect only Fast Track as primary sound card(if i work only with one channel)with my Peavy MV8.Connect with my cheap active speakers(mostly in use) and i was werry happy with the sound.

So if someone will buy this card i can only reccomend!

My Lexicon Alpha seems to be past.
