simple questionPapa Deuce 10-22-2006, 09:09 PM how are you marketing for corporate functions? It almost seems like you have to know somebody..... Carolyn 10-23-2006, 04:38 AM For me currently all of my corporate functions are holiday parties. I am planning to try to change that in the near future. However the majority of mine are referrals. I am sure if you thought about it you have friends or family members that work in corporations. Ask them if they would mind giving your card to the person that handles their parties. Papa Deuce 10-23-2006, 04:45 AM Thanks Carloyn.... my wife is kind of a big whig, and she still can't get me in... I'll keep at it, though. Carolyn 10-26-2006, 04:04 PM This year I tried a new approach with sending out post cards very inexpensive and I have booked one party out of it so far. I was going to send out 100 tried 50. The one party much more than payed for it and hopefully will lead to future bookings with them. I sent them out to local grocery stores, large corporations, and some mom and pops that I found in the yellow pages. The one that booked is a nursing agency. There really wasn't much rhyme or reason I went through the pages and tried a little of everything. You would be surprised how many corporations book at the last minute for the holidays. Papa Deuce 10-26-2006, 10:54 PM Carolyn, were they customized cards? jtnichol 10-27-2006, 12:57 AM You would be surprised how many corporations book at the last minute for the holidays. Isn't that the truth! Carolyn 10-27-2006, 06:43 PM Deuce, Yes, I designed them http://www.ourdjtalk.com/showthread.php/vistaprint-834.html However if you read on in that thread Basic pointed out that there are less expensive places. Professor Jam also does customized printing. I am happy with them though and they were shipped fast. | |
