Total control with turntables?

Is it possible to connect your numark total control with two turntables and just use your total control as a mixer and have the numark vinyl control on both of your turntables?

The Total Control is not a mixer, it is simply a MIDI controller with a USB input/output. There are no inputs or outputs for other sources.

Oh ok i was just wondering becuase i wanted to use the turntables for numark cue but i want to also control my music from somewhere thats easier but i guess i cant lol. How would i set it up if i wanted to connect my turntables and mixer to my laptop and use numark cue would i need a sound card?

I know you can do it in tracktor, using the vinyls or cds, the Audio 8 and the total control... Im sure Numark does the same thing... You would have to have some sort of input audio card thought... Im sure Numark Cue does the time coded vinyls...

You need for that Hercules Controller or the cheapest and for money the best way-M-Audio Torq.

To used TCV with VDJ the first thing you need is a USB soundcard that has RCA inputs (such as a MAYA 44, but I think it may be discontinued). You'll of course need time code vinyl records.

As far as using the Total Control just as a mixer, you might have to make a custom MIDI map since the jog wheels might interfere with the TCV.

You're best bet is to either check your Total Control manual or ask the guys at the VDJ forum. They'll know for sure.
