Folks if you've not had the pleasure this visit will be worth the time, effort and of course fellowship with one of our family. Hope you all enjoy it. I will look forward to hearing about it. hiredpower 03-27-2008, 01:59 PM I'm 3 hours away, but would be glad to come-on-down! Yes, yes you did! (shakes head). You know, that's really not funny. I got one stuck in my throat one time, and I had a stiff neck for weeks! :sqerr::rofl: Ben jokerswild 04-06-2008, 01:00 PM ROTFLMFAO :sqlaugh::sqbiggrin::sqerr: hiredpower 04-30-2008, 10:12 PM I probably got in the way more than helped, but spent the day with Ben and his crew. Since I didn't make it to Vegas this year, it was my first time hearing the Dynacords. WOW! Those things really push some air and it wasn't even turned up that much. You're a lucky man Mr. Tuck! hiredpower 04-30-2008, 10:13 PM It was just another day in the office for Ben, Travis and Jeff. Kirby Ball 04-30-2008, 10:15 PM Ben: I'll be seeing you bright and early on Friday morning! Bringing my trailer, just in case anything falls off the back of your truck!:sqerr::sqwink: Thanks, Kirby hiredpower 04-30-2008, 10:16 PM I bought a new mixing board and Ben threw in all the lights on the rig for free! LOL. :sqwink: Ben Ben: I'll be seeing you bright and early on Friday morning! Mobile Beat is a little carnival compared to this show (and others) and we as a DJ community should be honored (I know I am) to have a class act company like NorthernLight FX to come be OUR humble servant in Las Vegas every year. The caliber of expertise is unmatched in my humble opinion. hiredpower 04-30-2008, 10:38 PM Looking forward to it. Better yet, come Thursday night! We'll be ready to give stuff away if you tear it down. LOL. :sqwink: Ben (In my best Arnold voice) I'll be bock. Kirby Ball 04-30-2008, 10:59 PM Looking forward to it. It was a lot of fun spending time with you. I feel bad that my schedule got messed up the way it did and I didn't have more time. I owe DougF a BIG apology because I never did connect with him while I was down here, and I was really hoping to. Maybe I'll have to make another "social" visit just to see you guys. :) Ben flipper06 05-01-2008, 11:29 PM Ben, I am sorry that i couldn't make it back down today..:sqfrown: Had some things to get resolved. Kirby Ball 05-02-2008, 07:58 PM It was a pleasure to meet you today, Ben. You and your compadres are some fine people (for Northeners).:sqwink: Now I have to get motivated and book some more events, so I can buy some more gear! :sqwink: Hope your long ride home was safe and uneventful. The road rack showed up this afternoon, via UPS. Again, Thank You so much for taking the time to help me out and giving me some very honest, helpful advice concerning my purchases. There will be other times I'm sure! NLFX Pro 05-03-2008, 02:16 PM Thank you Kirby. The pleasure was all ours! We got home around 2:30am... made for a long day, but other than some rain and winds the weather was good and the trip was largely uneventful. Oh, aside from an emergency stop to replace ALL 4 trailer tires! LOL. Ben It was a pleasure to meet you today, Ben. LOL.Ben Hope that didn't involve State Troopers and "spike strips" and that we won't be seeing this on "Wildest Police Chases".......:sqeek: Seriously, I hope no one was injured with all 4 tires going out... It was my pleasure to do business with you and you have an "Extremely Satisfied Customer" here in Chatham... Thanks, and I hope to spend more money with you in the future. :) Kirby NLFX Pro 05-03-2008, 08:07 PM They promised they'd let us know when it would be on TV. ;) No seriously, luckily none of the tires blew... but one was low, and it caused undue stress to it's tandem, which had now worn THROUGH the steel belting. With a 9,000lb load we decided no more chances... just replace them all. Ben | |
