I played with it at work today. It's great if you want to adjust the hue/saturation of your pics, get rid of red eye, convert to b&w, etc. It even has some pretty cool filter effects.

It's not nearly as powerful as Photoshop or Elements, but for basics, give it a whirl.

A great web based alternative for publishing pics to almost anywhere and tinkering with them, renaming pics ;) etc is Picnik www.picnik.com (I think)

Free version available too - try it you can post to Facebook, My Space, Flickr, Google Picasa and a few blogging platforms - I love it!

I use Photoshop CS3 Portable and have been for awhile

no need for install and runs via a thumb drive :)

Never heard of CS3 Portable.

I bought CS3 Extended a few months ago because I needed a write off and didn't really want to buy more gear since I really wouldn't have a use for it.
