Ok, so I was bored today and I came across some videos for the Vue III and the Color Palette which are promo video's by Chauvet...

I placed the Vue III on my Weddings page with a blurb about more lighting and a link to my demo page.... on my Parties page I simply put a text link to the Demo page....

My reasoning is this; most of the folks visiting are brides and I wanted them to see the light on the wedding page with the option to view more if they want to... since I'm not doing many "Parties" I figure a simple link would suffice there....

Checkout the demo page and tell me what you think.... I will be replacing the Chauvet demo's with video of my own... but figured this would at least for the time being show what I have to offer better than some contrived bit of text...

LOL, I had to stop watching the video immediately because of the music, which I know ( or guess ) was probably on there by Chauvet.... :sqerr:

I have been hard pressed to get my lighting act together.

It hasn't happend yet. But anyhow.

I don't think the manufacture's videos are such a great idea. I would find the time to setup your lighting as you intend to use and film your own 1 to 2 min video.

Again, proves my point - not about you - but why do people always demo with crappy music? Just like that Denon video... crappy music.

I totally agree..... but, some brides have asked what my lights are and what they do and I'm horrible at descriptions of that sort. I will be shooting some video at my next gig... since doing so at home just wont do.... until it warms up at least it's too cold to setup in my garage yet.

Probably something someone came up with in the chauvet manu plant to put up on YouTube to show off their stuff anything else would have required payment of royalties I'd imagine....

I don't think it does you or your lights justice to post those videos on your website. First, I don't believe the manufacturer videos do the light complete justice, because I have to admit the Vue III video is pretty lacking, partly on the bad programming. Same with the LED panel. By watching those videos, the customer will have a perceived image of what your lights look like, although we all know those lights can be programed in many different ways, and setup in many different ways.
