My RCF sub has one...can you buy a standalone unit?
I know you can buy a crossover; looking for simple; just want to send everything over 100hz to the tops; under to the sub....no need for 20 knobs....
Thanks

I'm very interested in this also, my amp doesn't have one built in.

Check on Ebay for a Ramsa subwoofer processor. You can pick them up pretty cheap.
Also try the Peavey Kosmos units. Just a few knobs and you can really dial in your bass.

Go with PC soft mixing and DSP effects. Route directly out of your multi IO sound card to your high/mid and subs.
Here's a stupid picture I drew.

I took great time in detailing my setup. Note the special attention I made to the hand written lettering and the self portrait of me and my humongous brain.
Basically I have 8 paired outputs going to several powered studio monitors around the room. Using the DSP mixing, routing and EQ capabilities of my soundcard, I simply drop a shelf EQ on the output running to my sub. The shelf EQ looks like this.

I can pick high shelf, low shelf, or if I don't want to use a shelf, I have parametric, 3 band, 4 band, and multimode at my disposal. (Oh, did I mention compressor and line levelers too?)
It's sex. Pure sex. As close as you can get to super duper high end mixing and routing without the price. Just gotta get over that learning curve.
