I'm doing a JH "black light" party next month and would actually like to offer these parties as a package option down the road. What is the best UV fixture out there that will fill up a a good portion of a gym? In your experiences, how many fixtures will I need? Thanks ahead of time for any advice.

Been ask many times and usually it results in a loud Elation UV Wash, you would need several for a gym. I've only used my 3 fixtures in a room about 1/4 the size of a gym. It was OK but could have used a little more in the back but I was aiming for the dance area mainly.

I have an elation UV wash....seems to cover quite a bit of area.....good fixture for the price. I would think a few would cover a lot of area, maybe what you need.

Good luck,
Jeff

I think this is Tyron's light shack...isn't it? So is this elation an all on or all off type of fixture?

I use Altman 705's. One is enough to cover an entire gymnasium.

Using two and coming from opposite sides of the room will eliminate the "dark side of the moon" problem you would have with just one source.

Wildfire also makes the same type of fixtures and they are excellent.
