The card itself looks intimidating.
Rumor mill has it creative isn't going to develop much more on the EMU line. This might be a better alternative.

That's okay... nobody's twisting arms.... there is nothing wrong with old skool DJ'n....
We just look to the future... however, at the price of that thing it's faaaaaaaaaaaar in the future. But, certainly a taste of what's to come by way of music production and reproduction. Wouldn't ya say!

I tracked down the MFGR's site (guess who i'm gonna beg for hardware at next years namm) Check this out man...

They opened up the DSP API so anyone can program the DSP. There's a ton of 3rd party devs making custom effects for the thing and a real cult following on thier forums. Kind of reminds me of what zug always *wished* emu would have done.
