Chauvet ShowXpress 100

OH my gosh..what have i got myself into? ..lol. Just when i thought i was starting to catch onto DMX..(read Tyrones Book and Participated in the DMX after dark). I thought going software based would be the way to go, i am starting to have doubts. I love Chauvet , but the tutorials with this program really suck for a complete newbie to DMX. Does anyone know of any books or info to help me get this up and running? The manual was written for someone who basically knows what the he*^ they are doing (I Don't). Any help would be appreciated..by the way i emailed Chauvet and the guy responded with broken english in email,so i can imagine how a phone call would confuse me even more..so i don't think they will be of any help..lol.
