Inquiries for '09

Man, I'm already starting to get inquiries for 2009 but I sure wish they'd get their locations correct.... this last one is for a place in South Bend, IN but they put in South Bend, ME.... and got a mileage quote that was more than the service itself.... D'oh!

I've got way more requests for 2009, than 2008.... which kind of stinks as I'm dying to put these Bose to use a bunch of times this year..... which would also make my wife happy. :sqwink:

I hear ya... I haven't even performed my first event of the year yet... she did email me back though and I was correct she did mean South Bend, IN.... and since I mentioned that I also have lighting she asked about that too....

Looks promising..... she didn't ask price so I simply told her about them and gave her a link to the video's of them on my site..... a'ha a reason to return to my site......

Several 09 events already booked (furthest one out is in September of 09) and we're still filling in the holes in '08.

Just booked a Friday wedding (pics and music) for 05/09/08..:sqerr:

I have 9 booked for 2009 so far and 2 for 2010. The two fo 2010 are both referrals from the same wedding I did back in October '07

I've had 1 call for 09, but nothing booked.

I'm like some of the above, I'm still waiting on more 08 bookings to come in. I have had two receptions so far for the year, but nothing in April at all. Very slow 08 starting for me, but I guess it was like this last year too, and it turned out ok, but has me a little worried

I am only 4 behind my total weddings for last year. I did 30 in '07 and 26 booked in '08. My first one is April 19th.

I have 3 booked for '09.

Like Papa I haven't even done my first event yet this year... I have several booked... my first doesn't even happen until Apr 26th... then nothing in May then 2 at the end of June.... it is a bit weird and disconcerting.

Im new... I haven't got the gigs behind me yet, and I am not spending $$$ on advertising other then for the website... Mind you I have done about 8 bar gigs, and got a S&D at the end of next week...

The only dollars I spend on advertisement is on my website, wedj, business cards....

No not new been at it for 3 years... just a slow market I think...
