This was a very nice wedding. Ultra religious so not much dancing In fact they had about 1/2 hour of dancing when the bride and groom stopped that was pretty much it. I was told ahead of time that it would probably be this way so it did not hurt my DJ feelings to much . Most of the dancing was group dancing and the bride actually requested the Chicken Dance and the Hokey Pokey to start the dancing with.

It did drag a bit but the bride told me also well ahead of time one of the most important things for her was for her and the husband go to each table and pass out candies and visit with everyone.

Personally I would have liked a more active wedding but if my bride and groom where happy (they where very, very pleased.) Then I'm happy.

Probably the biggest thing for me was that the Caterer is the only person allowed at this venue for the food and he basically runs the place for the owner who ever they are. He loved us and asked for our cards said they are always looking for a great DJ's  Which was a nice thing for him to say. And at the end of the night he added that he hoped we got to work together again.

It was a pleasure on our end also. Here are a couple of photos nothing fantastic. All in all a nice wedding night with a great bunch of people.

I hate to say it but the florist sucked and the bride was very unhappy with them. But on the flip side when the bride was upset about not having a toss bouquet because the florist forogot.

The DJ went to his car and got his emergencey toss bouquet :sqwink:.
The bride was very very happy. In fact she just looked at me funny for a second and gave me a huge hug and thanked me so much for being just an awesome DJ. The bouquet was a silk one I bought on ebay for 20 dollars and I would recommend it to anyone. I use these guys they are not cheap but its great stuff and looks good http://stores.ebay.com/CREATIVE-BRIDAL-SOLUTIONS

Also Cap if you read this thread do me a favor if you feel comfortable PM me with some of your sales and personal info. The Bose where a huge and I mean huge hit last night.

The wedding had about 4 pastor and 4 different church groups from german baptists to everyone else there. I told one of the pastors who was looking at my speakers all night long about you and to look you up on the web.

They will probably be looking for a sound system for the church they where building and he said that he was blown away by the beauty and the sound from these speakers.

You would have been proud of me Cap I made them sing. Also the photographer loved them and said she had seen to many wedding pictures ruined because of the DJ's huge speakers Tonight was truely more of a MC night than a DJ night and it was exactly what I tell brides is the difference between a DJ and an MC/DJ. I love this stuff.

I can say this for sure these type of people are exactly why I love weddings. It such a special time for them and everything in my heart wants to help make it one of the best memories of there lives. My wife loves it for the same reason. They where loving and so kind they wanted to include us in everything and they where just so greatful. Her mom came up to us after the reception and thanked us for help making her daughters wedding so special. The photographer and I where both getting a kick out of this group doing the chicken dance and the hokey pokey.

nextgen1 - Great job! And thanks for reminding me about the "emergency toss bouquet." It's one of those things I keep meaning to do, but never seem to get around to. Now it is on my "hot list." Thanks again!

Hey great job! Kudos on the extra toss bouquet.

Is that a standard 4 foot folding table under your skirt (or are you just happy to see me...haha...sorry couldn't resist)? I will probably be getting the Bose system soon and am looking at various setups to use with it. Do you have the bins in front of the skirt or behind it, under the table?

Six foot table and yes I'am glad to see you . The bins at this moment are under the table but in the near future AKA next month they will be in front with a 46 inch LCD sitting on them :sqwink:. Man I know some people really hate Bose but if you hear the comments and the great sound. It's awesome. I really do love them. For a wedding DJ they are just unbeatable. Here is a pic with them under the table I really like this look and they aren't there for beer ) Even if its sheer imagination on the people around you because of the Bose name its just instant. Again everytime I see a Bose commercial on TV I'm like yes there is free advertisement.
