Bob Kames died on Wednesday April 9th from complications of alzheimers disease. He was the guy who made "The Chicken Dance". He was one of the masters of organ music and he produced for over 50 years! He also owned his own organ store. He must've did something right.
Sorry if I caused some sadness but I loved the chicken dance and may it last for more years to come...

Thanks Bob Kames for reviving that little ditty and for putting a great dance routing to it!
R.I.P.
"Dance Little Birdie" has lasted 25 years! I believe that it qualifies as a CLASSIC.
I use it all the time and it rarely fails to get the crowd out on to the dance floor.
