This is for my Tuesday Night Karaoke Night at a Bar Named Todds By The Bridge. Week 1 went great with team size grown to 11 each by the end of the night. Making the contest currently 20 weeks. We are going to allow new people to still join next week maxing the teams at 15 each. So this will take all summer. The prize $$ will increase every week as long as there is 80% participation. Challenges will be to make sure everyone on each team has to sing at some point. If you notice week one there were 7 challenges that required a total of 10 singers Singers may only be used once in an evening and the Challenge list is posted at begining of the night and teams have 30 min to get their slips in for the 1st 3 challenges 10PM and til 10:30PM for remaining challenges.

Sing so you arent the next one voted off the Bridge.
Prizes to be awarded based on participation and length of contest.
Prizes TBA (minimum $250).
Contest starts with 2 teams on 04/15/2008 10 singers on a team.
Teams may add new singers at the end of the night based on singers that didnt show up up to 2 weeks.
There will be 2 weeks of building teams. No singers will be eliminated for the first week other than team building mentioned above.
The team with the most points at the end of the night will get to pick the order for the next week in other words the order in which the teams will compete/sing.
POINTS:
Participation each team gets 10 points for each singer that shows up each night. Pick singers that will show up each week get their cell# and text them a reminder. It is your job to get them here! After the merge, there will only be challenge points.
Challenges the team that wins a challenge on a particular night will be awarded 25 points. Challenges will be voted on by a random person in the bar their decision is final. After the merge, points will start at zero and be awarded on an individual basis.
Team Immunity starts week 2. The team with the most points wins immunity. The other team must vote amongst themselves to vote a singer off the Bridge.
Individual Immunity starts when the teams merge. Best performance of the evening will be awarded individual immunity. Individual Immunity will be decided on by 3 random people in the bar. Along with 3 secert songs in the book if sung will earn immunity.
When contest reaches 3 final contestents they will be given 1 week to prepare 3 songs. 2 will be from selected catagories, One will be individual choice. The other members of the contest will be brought back as a jury to vote the winner of the contest.
Challenges Week 1
Neil Diamond select one singer from each team to sing a song written or performed by Neil Diamond.
Dont Forget The Lyrics select one singer from each team to sing a song without the lyrics on the screen.
Come Together select 3 singers from each team to perform a Beatles song each singer must solo on at least one part of the song.
Sing an 80s Song For Me choose an 80s song for the other team to sing.
Role Reversal choose a singer and they must perform a song by an artist of the opposite sex.
Duet pick two singers to perform a duet. House rule you CANNOT perform Picture.
Tag Team pick a singer from each team. Each of those singers picks a song to sing half way through their performance the member of the other team must finish their song.
