Nice Afternoon Today

Been a nice day, I took the afternoon off from my day job, and visited 3 venues, one was a small Wedding Chapel and Reception hall Venue, I talked to the couple that ran it, and they also manage another venue I play at very often. I mentioned the last couple I had DJ'd at the other venue, and they ask for a stack of business cards. This place normally does 4 hour packages including the ceremony, so the reception is about 3 hours. Most Saturdays they have two wedding and sometimes even three. They try to book the same dj for the 2-3 receptions. So 1 setup , 2-3 receptions, 1 tear down. They would all be about 75 guests size receptions, and maybe not high end pay but very easy setups. Also no responsibilities on the ceremony, the venue managers take care of that side completely.

The other two venues also requested a stack of cards.

Ended the afternoon with a B&G client meeting, will find out tomorrow if I booked the Ceremony and Reception.
