I know its just a little thing but it makes the small minded think we're so large..

As you may know we just changed over to dj event planner and in celebration I unveiled my new client area site (its like private labeling intelligence but a lot cheaper)

now my clients and employees log-in to their event planners at

www.my1stcarolinadjs.com

Ok, don't take this wrong. I think others will concur.

I really think you need to look into paid hosting. It's $5 a month.

I know when I go to a site and it has free hosting I don't even bother, I move on to the next potential.

Agreed... Pay for the hosting... the top banner makes it look soo unprofessional...

Didnt take that the wrong way at all its good advice. it really has been a pure laziness issue to switch but im calling godaddy now.

I dont know that its really affected my business though because my only "competition" in town is http://www.aandadj.com

but its a very valid point. The one thing i never liked about its is every now and then i get a competitors ad in the banner.

thanks guys

Kyle -

Isn't there some way to block competitors ads from running thru your Google AdSense account on the banner? If I read thru the rules of AdSense, there is a way to do that. At least that way, you wouldn't have to give up any click thru payments from Google from people that click on those banner ads.

Just my thoughts.

Kyle what's your unbiased opinion of DJ Event Planner? Years ago I used DJI when it launched but I'd rather support someone here than there ;)

I'm just about to launch here in Charlotte and want to knock the socks of my new found competition - one thing I will be getting are Breakthrough Brochures - I have had them before and they are nice..... Unless you guys know different.......

I'm big on marketing and am already set to take over Google locally ;) x lots

I know I'll go with SoftJock (Hey Rick you get some readies from me!)

What ad or banner? I don't see it. I'm using Firefox and Ad Muncher and I thought that AM was blocking something, but even with AM disabled I don't see an ad.

on the top of the page because i got free hosting on that account. Im probably calling go-daddy later today or tomorrow im going to think it through some more. It's really not much money at all but Ive got about 300 jobs on the books so far this year so im not thinking its really dragging me down especially based on the website of my main competitor who's new music update is a couple of years old
