My first Wedding back in the saddle

Last night was my first Wedding after my personal issues have kept me back in recent months. Lets just say it went great. I didnt use Bose but the response for my system was great. The new console stand and smaller footprint has allowed for a very minimal footprint making it much easier to fit in at any venue.

I bought the trifold Odyssey flight stand for my Odyssey case which houses all my Denon Gear. I plant my 500 Gig external and my cordless mic receiver on the shelf under the console and once my CD's are completely replaced on the drive I will engulf an approximate 4' by 4' area including my rotund figure. Once I attain my Global Truss Arch it will minimize space as well allowing me to fly the Dynacord VLS tops and Sub in front of my console.

Back to the Wedding I have Kyle topped my Bride and groom looked no older than 16. Pictures to follow. The Reception was excellent from first note to final Circle of Love Finale. This group was to be a very unlikely dance group and even on a Sunday evening.

Lots of classic Rock and smooth Jazz with a bit of stinky Cheese thrown in for the folks who dont get out much. I will dig out a partial play list as I didnt have much time to write each song down.

The Anniversary dance again broke open the dance floor as planned gaining 2/3rds of the crowd. I have now made it open to all couples which are recognized as significant couples. This allows me to gain several more couples, which in this event gained all but 8-10 people who remained seated.

This anniversary dance ended up with a couple who had been married 58 yrs and the last couple in the center of the RING have been married 60 yrs. To date 69 is the longest so far.

Dancing ensued to Glenn Miller Digital In The Mood. Went into some classics including CCR, Orbison, Sinatra, Neil Diamond and much much more. Tony Bennett, Mel Torme and the Andrews Sisters along with some popular swing songs enveloped the evening which ended at 10 pm with many folks leaving on an early flight coming from the States and back East. I played 1.5 hours dancing music.

Ive got a couple pictures but nothing great unless you want to count some that I need to share per Kyles neat pictures thread.

Enjoy.
First one was before the guests arrived an elderly gentleman with more shaky hands than I took several this being the most focused of the bunch. I was hoping for a couple for the website as I found my smile on a cloudy day but oh well. We will see if my web guy can tighten it up for me.

Picture two is of the Ikea Gobo add on. This was taken with the room in full light and a wall of window on one two sides of the room. I didnt have a good wall so hung it on an angled ceiling above the dancefloor. The bride and the moms raved about as well the MC who I will talk about later (excellent MC and a great future connection).

Picture 3 is of the Youngest looking Bride and Groom Ive had in a really long time.:sqwink: What say you Kyle?

Young...

I'd say my average age is 21 to 25.

This summer has seen the mad rush of people getting pregnant and scheduling last min weddings.

Good job, hopfully this sets you running for the rest of the summer.
