OK, now its really serious.....The administrator has disabled playing games for your usergroup.

Maybe it has to do with the fact that we get a lot of our oil from Canada...

I think we are tweaking the usergroups so members with only 25 posts will be allowed to post in the dj gear exchange, Dan may have missed a few settings so sit tight, we will get em fixed shortly.

Got the same error message but was able to go around the "blockage" by visiting my "User CP" and then "onward and upward!":sqwink:

Wooops forgot to set permissions for the new usergroup for people with more than 25 posts. You guys always catch me :D

It will be fixed momentarily. :)

@Randy: Normally all these settings are in one place, the usergroup manager but a few addons namely the arcade and portal insist on having their own separate area for usergroup controls, which is dumb but hey what to I do know. Hence, I *always* forget to set those permissions because I figure once I'm done in the usergroup manager, I'm done. :sqerr:

Dan - I see no portal page now.

The portal works until you log in, then it goes away, and you just see the menus, banner ad and footer. All the content is missing.

Here's a screenshot after you login (note the red dot again on top). The portal is normal when logged out.

I just changed my 'favorite link' to the main page. I didn't really use the portal anyways.

It's fixed now, I missed a second set of permissions for the portal. :mad: That portal is really starting to annoy me, I may ax it.


On a positive note, vB 3.7 was released yesterday lots of new features for members! I cannot wait to install it. :)

Had this problem for a few days. I couldn't locate the forum page where the big show is located. Don't remember everything I did, but I know that portal was involved somehow. Everything is fine today, so I guess whatever it was went away. Thanks anyway for asking.
