EV Speaker Age Question? ? ?

Ben, Michael, anyone familiar with EV speakers.

I have a couple of older EV cabinets and was wondering how old they were.

EV S-152
2-Way Stage System
8-ohm Power Capacity 200 watts
Serial numbers, 952180692 & 952180693
Made in Buchanan, MI

They still have their original speakers in them and they still sound pretty darn good.. :D

They're probably not as old as my Peavey SP2-A cabinets.....:sqwink:

Good set of speakers Kirby. You won't want to get rid of them [until your back complains, that is].

65 lbs of sweet sound can allow the back some forgiveness Val LOL. Like your show isnt times 1000. LOL One of your Distro boxes probably weighs more.

We don't lift much stuff though Jon. It actually pains me a lot to load a small system into a van. While ours is a little bigger, it is pretty easy on lifting really. Some days we do wonder why be bought more subs....so we can pick up/set down 12 high packs from 30" higher?!? lol

Still love my EV 1502er s. One is begining to have problems with the horn, but not bad for the purchase of the set from 1987!
