I have both a Raptor and a Vertigo. The Raptor, while technically a Spin & Puke, does a nice job at being a kaleidoscope on steroids.

The Vertigo? Ho hum.

Is the Raptor like the Cyborg? I have a Cyborg and often considered it a kaleidoscope on crack (or steriods). I have a Vertigo too, and its good for smaller rooms.

There's no duty cycle on the raptor.....From what I see on the grid; it has a better look than the Kinta (which I have)..Go with the kinta instead of the Vertigo......the Kinta has no duty cycle; the Vertigo does....

Vertigo is easy very easy. I like the cyborg and it's LED counterpart the Elan

I own 2 raptors.

My Free basic lighting is just that 2 Raptors.

They have very nice coverage, operate more like a expensive light vs spin and puke, good for fast and slow songs.

My vote goes to the raptor- less power, less space, much lighter, sleeker looking, more exciting effect, looks better in fog and every dj doesn't have one.

Also- check eBay to see if theres a Martin Acrobat out there somewhere- theyre excellent little lights and their discontinuation caused a lot of people to ask martin "Y?" my next light purchase will be an acrobat whereever i can find one.

I use the Chauvet Mushroom which is basically the Vertigo and have had no problems with them for 3 years (aside from a couple of bulbs) I prefer them to the raptor or the Kinta but to each thier own. But like Steve said there is a duty cycle and if thats all you plan on using you might want to look at the Raptor
