Hey All,

It is time for me to change some things with my lighting. I want to scale down for weddings to something a little nicer but still good for dancing.

What I am looking for is something, if it is available, to try to get some lightweight color changers mounted to the speaker stands and go over the speakers. That would be a start. I still want some other lights like a strobe and I also use a mini starball. I also use a couple mushroom lights but could go with something smaller and lighter that is similar.

Any ideas how I could go about this?

This is my light set up now. It is getting too much. Pretty heavy and hard to carry around. Last night I was carrying it in and tripped. I didn't drop it but I did bruise the heck out of my shin.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Edit: This is an old photo. I now have another mushroom light where the strobe is and the strobe is in the spot right above it. One of my mini sparklers went to crap and I just added the mushroom.

I just use the bolt holes that are in the top of my speakers.. (The bolts are there for flying them) and screw a vertigo in the top of one and then usually a water light (martin) in the top of the other... Works great...

Options:

1: Martin Acrobat. Most say you need nothing else.

2: 2 Martin Raptors. It's What I use as my free wedding lighting setup.

3: 4 LED Par's and a Marin EFX 600. I'm Considering making this my new Free Lighting setup.

4: 2 - Vue III - Good Coverage, many people use these. I think they look cheesy but that's your decision.

5: Marin SCX 800 about the same coverage as an acrobat. I'd add at least 2 LED pars.

You will get much more out of 2 DMX lighting fixtures than you get out of you old analog lighting.
