Steve Sharp 05-06-2008, 09:01 AM I've heard of these, but never seen one, and was told by told by the distributor (which is right near me) that they didn't think some of the accessories on the website existed yet. Where did you find this, is it easy to use, why are you selling it, and can you give me an estimate of how much it would cost to ship to California?
hiredpower 05-06-2008, 09:57 AM I bought them through XXXXXXXX. I've had these for about 6months or more (I'll have to check my records at home).
Since I have 2 RR12s, I was planning on using both. I decided I want to keep one of them without the shelf on it.
I haven't even installed the one I opened yet, so I can't tell you how easy it is...
Give me your zip and I'll get an estimate for shipping.
Steve Sharp 05-06-2008, 11:43 AM My zip is 93033.
hiredpower 05-06-2008, 12:03 PM Thanks Steve. I will let you know when I get home today.
BTW, here are the instructions:

Also it comes with 2 new perforated handles that will replace the existing ones.
Jon Tuck 05-06-2008, 04:05 PM wow I didnt even know these exist. Steve have you been out to Vewntura where the RNR is sold from? I cant recall the guys name but spoke to him on the phone and he is a really nice guy.
Keith the link page you initially posted opened but the sahelf pic didnt want to open.
Steve Sharp 05-06-2008, 04:42 PM Jon:
Yes, I have. Dana B. Goodes is the distributor, in Ventura. I was able to purchase a new wheel from them, but not accessories. They refered me to dealers, but the people there hadn't seen this accesory. Maybe they don't distribute the accessories?
At any rate, I'm interested. I don't think this would be sturdy enough for D.J.ing from, but for Hercules product demos, it might make an easy-to-use demo area.
hiredpower 05-06-2008, 05:16 PM Steve, shipping should be approx. $25 to zip code 93033. I was looking at the specs above and it says the kit is rated for 150lbs.
Here's a quick shot of the box.
hiredpower 05-06-2008, 05:24 PM In case anyone is wondering...I had to edit my above post that told where I purchased this from. They do not sell to the public and I got scolded by their rep who just happened to come into my work today. :sqembarrassed:
Steve Sharp 05-06-2008, 08:06 PM SOLD!
I look forward to it.
Thank you, Keith!
hiredpower 05-06-2008, 09:10 PM Thanks Steve!
I think I'll put mine together and post some pictures for those who are interested. I bought this back in October, who knows what else I'll find in the basement unopened? :)
Steve Sharp 05-15-2008, 03:44 AM Arrived yesterday, assembled today. Thanks, Keith! Give me about a week or so, and I may have some pictures of mine, too.
maestro 05-27-2008, 09:08 PM I'm about to order a R&R R12, how do you guys like em? Any photos of them loaded up?
Jon Tuck 05-27-2008, 09:15 PM Steve you dont need a 12 unless your going to do the 4 wheeler clubs exclusive gigs in redneck country. R-10 gives the suitable alternative just in case a rough terrain event were to present itself.

I have had mine now since about 1994. I made two platforms for it using 3/4 inch plywood covered with carpet. One is used when the cart is extended and the other is used in the regular mode. The platforms are about 2" wider, each side of the width of the carts frame. You can use velcro straps or bungee cords to attach tripods along the handles in a vertical position. Apart from having to inflate the tires every now and then I have no complaints. I store it folded under the sofa seat in my Custom Van.
hiredpower 05-28-2008, 02:40 PM Steve,
Sorry I didn't see this post earlier...
I like them so much I bought two. That way I can pre-load both with equipment. I'll snap some pictures of them loaded up at my next wedding.

I have the RR 10.
Can I purchase two of the 8 X 2.50 pneumatic front tires with swivel casters and convert my RR10 to an RR12?
hiredpower 05-31-2008, 09:17 AM From the drawing in the manual, the front section looks different for their respective version.
The R10 has a square tube going across the front and have holes that accept the casters.
The R12 has a round tube welded to the end to accept the caster.
If both diameters are the same, you might be ok. The only other problem would be whether or not the cart would be level because the square tubing on the R10 looks lower than where the R12 round tube is?
DJBob 05-31-2008, 09:28 AM Thanks for the info and diagram. From the looks of things, they arean't interchangable, but I tried.
hiredpower 05-31-2008, 09:36 AM unless you want to cut the ends and do some welding?
