Eddie Arnold passes....Dave Winsor 05-09-2008, 05:44 AM He died yesterday "a couple of weeks shy of his 90th birthday". Although the writer thought it was important to include the date reference, it really doesn't make a difference UNLESS he wanted to see his 90th. What a voice. "Make the world go away......" RIP. He did some recordings fairly recently, a cover or two of his earlier hits and some duets. They were released on CDX but didn't make radio as far as I'm aware. His voice was still as warm as ever.
