Prom Parent-Dance Suggestions?

Just wondering what everyone is playing for the opening 'Parent Dance' at this years Proms?

The WHAT at proms?

Here in Canada, the parents are invited to attend the Prom (or Grad as we call it) for about an hour after dinner. That way they have a chance to get photos with their kids, congratulate them and their friends, etc. They are then asked to join their son or daughter on the dance floor for the first dance of the evening, after that, they leave.

Here in New England we take pictures hours before the proms at peoples houses. So idiots even do snacks and horsd'overies, etc. but that's it. Let the kids enjoy themselves, jump in the limo and be with their friends. They don't need their parents anywhere near the prom. That's why kids these days can't deal with life without their parents around. They don't know how to function on their own.

Im In PEI in Canada and no schools here do that all the pictures and stuff are done before prom...kids arrive in limo, sports car whatever and leave in them ....but noooo parents

Must be a West Coast thing...
