Hey Steve! Schedule is always current at www.harryoke.com. That way, they can be sure I will be there and can mapquest directions.

17th is a Tuesday, and I am in Daytona on Tuesdays, which is about an hour and fifteen minutes of interstate from Orlando...straight line, only 2 turns from I-4. My other shows on We and Th are in Flagler Beach, which is a little farther to drive...depends on ones commitment!! There is a chance my Tuesday gig may change before then...writing may be on the wall...

Who is coming in?

It will be my wife, son, his girlfriend and myself. We are leaving the kids with a baby sitter.

The problem is we are driving down Monday and I have to fly back Friday

Driving down Monday the 16th....leaving the 16th or coming in then? If you cant catch a show, maybe we can catch a late lunch... We will see.

What is the occasion, just a getaway?

It will be the first real (almost a week long) vacation I have had in 17 years.

But I blocked out the wrong date and booked a double wedding that requires my attention on Saturday. So we are driving down Monday morning (very early start) going to work the Escalade a little. Checking in the Hotel and crashing, Tuesday looks good for me.

Main purpose of this vaction though is a reward for my Grand daughter, I told her I would take her to Disney World if she made straight "A"s for the year in school, her report card shows all As or A+s for the whole year, she made Dean's List and Honor Roll.

That is cool. Will be looking forward to it. Keep your lips to yourself this time...or not, LOL.

Looking like I may be booking a DJ only night in Flagler on Tuesdays...not sure if that is too far to drive for you or not...especially with gas prices going thru the roof! Will let you know for sure closer to the date. As an aside, it is sure nice to have people lined up to hire me when I become available, LOL! Lotta great choices.

Looks like I may have my Saturday covered so I may be looking at Thursday or Friday nights now.

That is definitely my neck of the woods. The WE TH show is right up the road, and that is karaoke. IF you are limited to Sat, Sun, Mon, I would, especially if bringing mom, recommend my Sunday show. That is a little out of the way, but worth it in terms of being early (5-9), age group and quality of singers, great food, non smoking etc... Not hard to get to, I can give you accurate directions.

From Ormond By The Sea, you would just continue 10-15 minutes North to Flagler Beach, and take 100 West to US-1 in Bunnell (another 5-10 minutes). At US-1 in Bunnell, make a right, and we are 2 miles up on the left at the campground...go past, make a U turn and come down the road to the big building and find the best kept secret in the area!

Monday, my show is really close, less than 15 minutes, but I will give you a warning that it is a divey neighborhood bar, and smoking is allowed, so the haze is the biggest turn off. If you can deal with that, it is a fun night. (9-1)

My mom grew up in the oil fields of Oklahoma, and can be as tough as nails, and I work upscale most nights. I could really use a dive bar night. I think that's the one. Thanks, Harry.... um,.....can I bring my own discs? Or even better, do you carry SuperCore or KJ Tools? ( Same company, and I like a lot of their versions. Since I suck, I can use all the help I can get.....fer mom, ya know....

Hell I might even have to stay up and do the dive bar myself just so I can meet Joe in person!

Hey Guys...got the new show booked! Joe, this is more like 5 minutes from your Mom's place. Here is an excerpt from my press release...

I am pleased to announce a new show for the summer starting IMMEDIATELY on Tuesdays, and I think you are going to like it!! I will be doing my thing from 7pm to 11pm at LA MER RESTAURANT AND LOUNGE, which is located at 2444 S. Oceanshore Blvd, (A1A), Flagler Beach FL, 32137!

La Mer is a restaurant specializing in tastes of Argentina and Uruguay. They have a family friendly menu, from more exotic fare, to good ol burgers and fries. We will be having some great food specials weekly at my shows, starting with ALL YOU CAN EAT RIBS for $10.99, $2.99 empanadas, 50 cent wings and 99 cent draft beers. The adventurous can explore Roberts further offerings on the menu as well. The food specials are likely to change with demand!

The atmosphere is casual, but you probably don’t want to come in beach wear, LOL. The room is bright and clean and the bar is inviting. La Mer features a full liquor bar and a nice wine selection. If you do not see what you like, let me know and I will get word to Robert, the owner. Robert is a nice guy and really wants to serve the public. If there is anything about your experience you do not like, let me know and I will pass it on to him! If you have not been there lately, you have not been there. Much has changed, including the staff. It is a whole new experience, celebrating a grand opening. La Mer is also a non smoking facility, so you can get your sing on without getting your choke on!

Did I mention the show was 7-11? Nice and early for a work night! Happy hour is always 4-7, then I start the show at 7.

As sorry as I am to have to say this we are not coming down this week!

My Grand daughter came down with a bad case of swimmers ear and they are putting a drainage tube in Monday.

But that isn't the whole story Saturday the front wheel bearing went out in the Escalade and everything else except the Bronco is going out for work so we pretty much got shot in the arse across the board.

However, Jo change our hotel reservations to the last week of Feburary 2009, We will pull Jazzy out of school for that week and we are coming down anyway LOL.
