New Spandex Screen Hits The Market

As you may or may not know, I bought a Sima XL-12 144" dia. inflatable screen two years ago. The surface that came with the frame is vinyl and was ok, but now they have come out with a replacement spandex version called the XL-SPS-12.

I bought this direct from the manufacturer for > $150.

Because the frame has grommet holes around the perimeter, the new spandex surface has hooks sewn in to attach to the frame.

I think this screen could be useable for indoor applications as well without the inflatable frame. As a matter of fact, I have a spare fastfold frame that I may modify to use with this spandex screen.

Pictures are as follows:

Inflatable frame and vinyl surface.

What do you think?

I'm a nobody....

I don't think any of their retailers have them.

FYI, They make an 8' dia and 12' version.

XL-SPS-8 or XL-SPS-12.

I have their 12' inflatable frame, that's why I bought the 12' version.

Looks terrific, AND easy to transport...

On the other hand, I prefer small screens for karaoke 'cause I can't read big words..:sqerr:
