Does anyone have any experience using thia EQ, "Behringer FBQ3102 Ultragraph PRO EQ". If so, can you compare it to the DBX 231. Pros and Cons please.

What do you mean, which would you choose?

I did a Google search for both models. The DBX would appear to be the preferred choice, all things considered.

That being said, if it's a 1/3 octave EQ you're after, have a look at Carvin's EQ2030 (https://www.carvinguitars.com/products/single.php?product=EQ2030). For $240.00, it's a very nice unit. We use the 2/3 octave version.

I'll say it is. It was in an SKB case that fell off the back of my pickup one day.

I was barrelling along on I-95 North, heading home from a show in VA when the SKB case decided to jump ship. I pulled over to the shoulder, backed up and retrieved the case. I put it back in the truck and continued on my trip home.

The tumble on the road knocked the IEC plugs and a few TRS patch plugs out of their jacks but nothing was damaged. That was several years ago. The EQ and other processing units that were in that case (DBX compressor/limiter included) are still working flawlessly to this day. :)

I love dbx EQs. I have never used the model your thinking of gettting. But I have been using a dbx 2215 EQ for about 5 years and have never had a problem with it. As for me I would never put anything made by Berhringer in rig.

Well I have been using a Behringer Mixer for a couple of years now and i do like it and its features for the price. No problem so far!

I will certainly check with you when I am ready. I'd rather give you first shot at the business.

Look at the picture of my rack and you will see the Behringer EQ and speakermanagement system there. I have used many processors over the years and i love Behringer. I also have a dbx eq in my smaller rig.

DBX all the way, its like asking for a hummer 2 over a camry.

We had that behringer mixer before, horrible low end, and the microphone inputs did not have enough headroom. Overall worst mixer ever used. Your mileage may vary, but from other reports online others have had the same issues, maybe they went back and fixed it years after it rolled of the production lines.

Hmmmmmm. I have not experienced that with mine but then again on my rack there is a separate Pre-amplifier after the mixer and before the EQ. Plus I use a 3 way electronic crossover and sub harmonic synthesizer from DBX
