Honestly, I messed up last fall. I purchased a really nice dmx led system and sold my 4 intimidators. I got a killer deal on the system that I couldn't pass up. Then, some things changed and thought I'd downsize the lighting package and I had a guy offer me twice what I paid for the system. I couldn't pass up on the deal. Now, more things have changed and I'm rebuilding a new lighting system. Nothing really high tech, just a nice clean truss. I could have had more proms this year if I would have had the lighting, but I didn't have the time to put it together correctly so I passed on them to a friend of mine.

But, I will be making an amp purchase. My oldest Peavey 1200 decided to poop out on me this afternoon. I don't think it liked the heat. I've had a few issues with it the past few times out and I knew it was just a matter of time. I rewired the bi-amp system to finish tonight. I can't really complain, I think that may have been the first 1200 off the production line when they made them. It's brother quit me 2 years ago.

It's all good because I now have the resource of a great guy who will steer me into the path of eternal bliss with a new sound system. Ben (if you're listening), you might as well price me an amp that will eventually feed a new EV system.

Kat's. ;) She won't be able to join us this year at summer MB due to scheduling, but we wouldn't have a show without her. She is the Bosley behind all of us Angels. LOL. She'll make sure that we have your gear, pack extra socks and wash behind our ears. :)

Hi Michael.....I thought I'd be hearing from you.

I had an amp die on me. I'm currently running Peavey power - 18 Black Widows. Can you recommend something that will be friendly with those before I make the EV purchase and then compliment the EV equipment?

Do you have the 8 or 4 ohm version of that speaker? are you bi-amping your system or is the amp responsible for powering the full rig?

I would look at our CP line of amps - you'd probably want the 3000, but the 4000 would really kick some butt!

Bi-Amp System....4 ohms. Those amps are awful nice, but they appear to be well over my budget.

I hope I didn't offend Ben by asking for a list of other vendors. I was just curious to see a list of vendors that accept this card. Ben got our order, minus a discontinued light that he couldn't get, which I'd like to see if anyone else has any left in stock that I can purchase.

If anyone was ever looking to help finance their equipment purchases, the NAMM card is great for that. I didn't realize it had so many options, depending on your needs to finance.
