I'm looking into adding a simple game show into my events. I'm considering the "Face Off" from Creative Imagineering. I'm also thinking about using the "Lockout Plus" and create my own game show set and scoring system to go with it.
Is there anyone using any type of game shows? And if so what kind and what is your experience with the system you chose?

I can, but it still won't help me to know what you're talking about.:sqwink:
I'm speaking of game systems in general ie Face Off, Lock Out series, Game Show Mania. Etc.

I have Game Show Mania! http://www.mauimobilemusic.com/game.html
that's my web page,m there is a link to a 5 min or so video... you can check it out...
The Face Off is smaller and easier to move around. I have one of the very first systems and is way outa date, but I still use it 3 times a year... currently it is an $400.00 add-on to my DJ price... back drop and lights are extra....
It take a lot of work to book, and it has paid for itself so I can't complaine, but I really don't push it anmymore. Works best with two DJs running it, one to be MC and one to run the controls....

I have the face off but have not used it much. I used it at one bar, 2 holiday parties and have it offered for wedding receptions.
In one of my newsletters to my couples, I offered the first couple to contact me would get the game show for free for their reception. I had 2 emails come in right away so they both got it.
What I am doing is having the battle of the sexes. The couples give me 50 questions or so about them and the bridesmaids and groomsmen will go head to head against each other answering the questions about the b and g. I am throwing in up to 10 scratch tickets to the winning team.
I do have a couple other couples thinking about it. Maybe after it is seen at a reception, it might get requested. You never know.
I tried to market it to the bars in my rural area and only one wanted it and it was a very slow night and they did no advertising. I might try it again this winter since not too many get married in the winter here in the great white north.
Good luck to you.

Thanks Karl and Chuck,
I guess not many people use the Lock Out Plus. With a little imagination I'm finding more versatile uses for it. I just need to put my thoughts together.:sqeek:
